Steak & Ale
The all-time classic. Prime chuck steak sealed in a hot pan then braised slowly with carrots, leeks, onion and - of course - a decent bit of proper Guinness.

Prime chuck steak with ox kidneys and field mushrooms cooked in our rich gravy.

A New Zealand legend and Square Pie favourite. Prime chuck steak cooked slowly in rich gravy then covered with grated mature cheddar.

A mix of succulent British chicken breast and thigh in a handmade béchamel sauce with pan-fried diced field mushrooms. We’ve added a touch of tarragon (but not too much).
